First, as the Rector of the National University of Management (NUM), I would like to sincerely
welcome you to our institution here in the Capital City of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. For those who
have become our partners and friends, I extend a heartfelt appreciation for your cooperation and
support in advancing higher education in our developing nation. The development of NUM as a
quality education institution began at its commencement in 1983. NUM continues to be one of the
leading public universities in Cambodia.
In the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Royal
Government of Cambodia, Ministry of Education Youth and Sport, Ministry of Health and World
Health Organization who have been working tirelessly in order to protect and prevent the
spreading of the COVID 19 pandemic for our Cambodian Community. In this difficult challenging
time, my colleagues and I are sincerely committed to working closely with students, faculty
staff, and collaborative partners to innovate the way to offer a greater flexibility for the
success with well being through a new path of online/remote learning, hybrid classrooms or
seating classrooms with SOP requirement.
